While we enjoy this game and its special features, it is not as great of an experience as it could be. The game offers a medium-high variance. This should give us a chance at scoring big wins while still keeping semi-frequent wins and bonus activations. Unfortunately, Dead Man’s Fingers does not deliver on any of those fronts. Its top prize leaves a lot to be desired. Many medium-high variance slots offer better jackpots than 2,740x.
Another area this release is below average is in its return to player. Yggdrasil’s slot comes with an RTP of 95.2%. This is below the average for many online slots, which usually sit at 96%. A below-average RTP paired with a disappointing top prize makes recommending this slot difficult. Especially if you also factor in its low hit rate, which means plenty of dead spins before any type of win happens.
It is not all bad. The visuals in this game are great. The choice of theme and bonuses is excellent as well. However, Yggdrasil needs to offer something more substantive if it wants Dead Man’s Fingers to win players over.
