You can tell the artists had fun designing the graphics for this release. Space Miners is set aboard an asteroid turned into a mine. Aliens fly by, transporting what you mine to the far reaches of the galaxy. Outside of the mining facility, you get a great view of outer space. Countless stars twinkling in the distance. The developer makes the background brighter near the reels and darker farther away from them. It looks interesting visually and it makes sure your focus stays glued on the reels.
Symbols in this game are split into several tiers. At the bottom are the various colorful ores the aliens are mining. All of them are worth just 0.4x for a six-of-a-kind win. Bonuses
This slot offers a fun take on the cascading reels. Winning icons are removed from the board. All symbols adjacent to the edge of the playable area shatter the nearby stone blocks. This expands the size of the playing field and the number of available ways to win. The increased playing area persists as long as consecutive wins keep rolling in. Once no more wins are possible, the reels reset back to their default state. Players can increase the 6×3 board up to a 6×10 maximum. That increases the maximum number of ways to win to 1,000,000.
